Executive Assistant

We are seeking an organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated to work and learn in a fast-paced environment, preferably with a background in architecture, engineering, or construction. You will provide critical support in handling a variety of important tasks to ensure smooth execution of real estate projects.

Responsibilities:

    • Managing calendars and scheduling meetings
    • “Boots on the ground” style tasks such as coordinating deliveries, conducting walkthroughs, verifying items on-site, talking with subcontractors, communicating with neighbors, and physical labor as needed
    • Preparing bid packages and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and consultants
    • Managing various real estate project deliverables
    • Research of new technologies or ideas to implement in buildings

Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate diploma or higher required
    • Mandarin proficiency
    • Experience or knowledge of real estate finance, construction, architecture or engineering preferred but not required
    • Intense desire to learn and strongly self-motivated. Innate sense of responsibility
    • Eagerness to work on a variety of tasks ranging from paperwork to physical labor at jobsites
    • Strong organiziational and multi-tasking skills. Attention to detail is key.
    • Proficiency and speed in responding to emails. Experience with Bluebeam or Revit preferred but not required.

Employment type: Full-time, In-Person | $60,000 – $70,000

 

MEP Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled MEP Engineer to support our real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will be a licensed New York State Professional Engineer with 5 years of experience in MEP design and implementation for residential and mix-use properties.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead MEP project planning and coordination of MEP projects from concept to completion
    • Collaborate with architects and contractors to develop project plans.
    • Conduct site visits to document existing MEP systems.
    • Design and oversee MEP systems for new buildings and/or coordinating with external engineers.
    • Supervise installation and commissioning to ensure systems meet specifications.
    • Manage project budgets and implement cost-effective solutions.
    • Provide technical support during design and construction phases.
    • Apply quality assurance measures and conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in MEP engineering
    • New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
    • 5 years of experience in MEP engineering
    • Strong understanding of building systems design, codes, and standards.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Chinese-English Bilingual (Highly preferred) 

Employment type: Full-time, In-Person | $70,000 – $85,000
