Office Assistant

We are seeking an organized and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced office environment, preferably with a background as a receptionist or paralegal. You will provide critical support in handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

    • Answer and direct phone calls; manage office communications.
    • Organize and maintain office files, both physical and digital.
    • Assist with preparing and editing documents, contracts, and correspondence.
    • Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships.
    • Perform general office duties including data entry, mail handling, and filing.
    • Handle a variety of administrative tasks to support senior staff and management.
    • Accounting: Optimize system for recording & approving invoices, reconciling general ledger accounts, and monitoring budgets and cash flow.

Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Previous experience as a receptionist, office assistant, or in a similar administrative role.
    • Paralegal experience is a plus.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
    • Mandarin proficiency
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Efficient in high-volume environments while maintaining professionalism

Employment type: Full-time, In-Person | $50,000 – $60,000

 

MEP Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled MEP Engineer to support our real estate development projects. The ideal candidate will be a licensed New York State Professional Engineer with 5 years of experience in MEP design and implementation for residential and mix-use properties.

Responsibilities:

    • Lead MEP project planning and coordination of MEP projects from concept to completion
    • Collaborate with architects and contractors to develop project plans.
    • Conduct site visits to document existing MEP systems.
    • Design and oversee MEP systems for new buildings and/or coordinating with external engineers.
    • Supervise installation and commissioning to ensure systems meet specifications.
    • Manage project budgets and implement cost-effective solutions.
    • Provide technical support during design and construction phases.
    • Apply quality assurance measures and conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards.

Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in MEP engineering
    • New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
    • 5 years of experience in MEP engineering
    • Strong understanding of building systems design, codes, and standards.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other engineers.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Chinese-English Bilingual (Highly preferred) 

Employment type: Full-time, In-Person | $70,000 – $85,000
